Well it's damn flattering that someone would like my stuff enough to draw my my characters. First off thank you! Second, This is going to be crazy hard to rate since I think that your style is actually superior to mine in a lot of regards.

First of all, you're attention to detail is awesome. Not only did you nail the character designs, but you also captured the brightly colored settings that I always try to go for in the comic and just Ary's general look of guilty anticipation with just a hint of excitement. You can really read everything on her face.

Also, on that note, You've done a great job of setting the scene with this. Between their clothing and Ary's expression I'd hazard that this is right between 2-8 and 2-9; after Tommie blew up, but before she noticed (though I suppose it could be any time 2-7 since I do show part's of Ary's apartment as having pink walls. My assumption is really coming from Ary's expression, which again, you nailed!)

Actually, immediately after I saw this I went digging through my stuff to see if there was a specific picture you based it on. Even after I realized it wasn't anything I published I went routing through my sketch files to see if you might have been one of the rare people I'd shown my process files to.

Obviously this piece is your original take on the scene, but it says a lot about your work that even without being based on a specific picture it results in that level of deja-vu from the author of the comic.

Honestly I'm just super thrilled and honored to have fanart of my work, and for it to be something this great is truly something special. Thank you! And I mean that.
